Bend-Redmond Habitat receives grant from U.S. Bank. KTVZ.com

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity recently received a $4,900 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation to help the organization build an affordable home for a local family in need. The home will be constructed at Habitat’s property in Redmond called Quince Townhomes. Once completed, the site will be home to 10 families.

Sherry Jones, U.S. Bank Oregon Cascade District manager, said, “At U.S. Bank, our purpose statement reads, ‘We invest our hearts and minds to power human potential.’ We are passionate about investing our time and resources to create the best path forward for our communities. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we are able to help the community build strength and stability to envision what is possible through affordable housing.”

There are so many people in need of affordable housing in Central Oregon and we are committed to making a long-term and transformational impact.
