Strong Women Build Strong Communities

Women Build Week is more than a build event—it’s a movement. This initiative empowers women and allies to take action in addressing the critical need for stable, attainable homeownership in Central Oregon. Women Build celebrates the vital role women play in building strong communities while providing hands-on opportunities to learn, lead, and make a lasting impact.

Women face unique challenges in achieving homeownership, from wage disparities to higher mortgage denial rates. By coming together, we can break down these barriers, invest in the future of local families, and create a ripple effect of positive change.

Join us this May and be part of something bigger—because when women build, we all rise.

Around 75% of recent Bend-Redmond Habitat homeowners are single mothers.
