Per the City of Bend, Bend ranks #9 in the US for inadequate production of housing and nearly half the region’s renters are cost burdened – spending more than 30% of their household income on housing. 25% of renters are severely cost burdened – spending more than half their income on housing. Bend and Redmond are expected to continue to grow at an exponential rate, adding to need and increasing cost burden. Now is the time to get involved! Service length

  • AmeriCorps National
    A complete term of AmeriCorps service lasts 46.5 weeks or approximately 10.5 months following a completion of 1,700 service hours.
  • Bend-Redmond Habitat provides subsidized housing to all members. Housing provided are 1-bedroom units on a multi-home site, one unit per member.
  • We are looking for (4) AmeriCorps members to serve as Construction Crew Leaders. Apply today!
