Plan Your Giving
Make an impact for generations to come by including Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity in your will. People often choose to leave a percentage of their estate—to care for their loved ones and support causes close to their heart. Whether you designate a specific amount or a percentage, your gift will empower families to gain stability and thrive in Central Oregon.
You can create a legal will online, for free, with Freewill if you don’t have one already.
Sample Bequest Language:
I, [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise, and bequeath [written amount or percentage of the estate] to Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization with a business address of 224 NE Thurston Ave, Bend, OR 97701 and a tax identification number of 93-1004012, for its unrestricted use and purpose.

Brighter futures and resilient communities start with a home. Giving a home or land is a powerful way to support our mission and may provide significant tax benefits.

Marilyn’s Story
When Marilyn’s husband was at the end of his life, Arianna was there with compassion and care. “She was wonderful,” Marilyn says.
Later, Arianna partnered with Habitat to purchase her own home, and Marilyn saw firsthand how homeownership gave her confidence, stability, and peace of mind. “I couldn’t think of any other way to change a person’s life as dramatically as providing them a home,” Marilyn reflects.
Inspired by that transformation, Marilyn made a powerful decision to leave her property to Bend-Redmond Habitat. “It’s the best investment I own,” she says.
“What’s more important for an individual and a family and giving them a sense of security? Nothing’s more important than a home. And a home base that you love.”
