To Our Habitat Community:

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support over the past few months. The phone calls, emails, and social media messages have meant so much to us! During this time, we have been working hard to reopen our doors and serve you safely again.

Here’s our latest news:

REOPENING BEND RESTORE

We are happy to announce Bend ReStore will reopen on June 8!

  • Temporary Store Hours
To ensure the safety of our customers and our staff, temporary store hours will be 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
  • Your Safety
We will be operating with clear shopping guidelines for mask requirements, one-directional routes, donation drop off & pick up processes, hourly cleaning procedures, and more.
  • Volunteering
For now, our staff will manage store operations and we will be limiting our volunteer opportunities to keep everyone safe and healthy.

UPCOMING CHANGES FOR REDMOND RESTORE

We’ve spent the past few months evaluating our ReStore businesses based on the current situation with COVID and consolidating our ReStore operations to Bend will help us strengthen our programs and outreach until we can begin building a new ReStore in Redmond. While the store will close May 30, our commitment to the Redmond community and families is as strong as ever. As soon as we are able, we will move forward with plans to build a new Redmond ReStore on the parcel of land we own located at 2285 S. Highway 97.

  • Temporary Reopening – May 22
We will reopen May 22-30 with regular hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Note: We will not be able to accommodate any donations during this temporary reopening.
  • Close Out Sale – May 28-30
Be sure to shop the close out sale before we consolidate inventory in Bend! Items will be 40-60% off and will go fast.

SERVING REDMOND FAMILIES

Our crews have been busy building four homes for families. In addition, we will begin building 10 new townhomes in early 2021 at our property on Quince Ave & 8th Street.

SERVING BEND FAMILIES

We have completed one home for a family in Bend over the past few months with a move-in date just around the corner. Meanwhile, infrastructure has been completed at our NW Cottages site and we can’t wait to begin building 10 Net Zero cottages for families there.

We are so proud of the families in our homeownership program for continuing to work hard maintaining their jobs and taking care of their families during this challenging time. We will continue to support them and help them fulfill their dreams of homeownership in Redmond & Bend.

Thank you, as always, for your commitment to our organization. Together, we build homes, communities and hope!
